An exploration of the hidden connections between the performance of Jathilan (a traditional war game in Java), an abandoned sugar factory, the colonial archive in Den Haag, and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, where the ghosts of the portraits of Dutch East Indies rulers seem to wander through the building. Slowly, hidden connections and unfinished stories from the past reveal themselves.
