COMBINED PROGRAMME:
From Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 January you can watch and listen to special collaborations between visual and sound artists in WORM from 21:00 until late.
Thursday 26 January
French new-media artist Fraction joins us for a performance of their new work, Ritual for a Dying Planet. As the name suggests, the work oscillates through resonant spaces that are at times shamanic and ecstatic, but true to Fraction form, the work is devoutly digital. At times dark and unsettling, we are invited to take part in a ceremony fitting for an ecology in collapse.
Ayankoko is the ever-evolving musical project of French-Laotian multi-instrumentalist and composer David Vilayleck, in which he uses syncopation, abnormal time signatures, and polyrhythms to explore new conceptual frameworks. During sound//vision, he presents his latest audio-visual work, which he creates in real time, pushing the boundaries of stochastic processes both in sound and visuals.
