Welcome to the topsy-turvy world of film director Hanna, played by film director Hannaleena Hauru. There are already several earlier films about the misadventures and glories of Hanna, whose oeuvre and career eerily resembles that of Hannaleena Hauru, so much so that one could mistake this loose series as an essay in autobiography. Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. And what is a biography, what is life, what is real, anyway? That’s exactly what Hanna wants to find out and so she starts to stage an Instagram romance with a friend.

Like Hopper/Welles, Fucking with Nobody is a play with identities; similar to Ayako Tachibana Wants to Go Viral, it’s an essay on the pitfalls of social network mores and morals. Yet in its comedic verve and panache, and casual delivery of trenchant social observations and some nuggets of wisdom, it’s unlike anything else around these days. A true movie miracle!
