At any moment in time, an individual can be spread across multiple locations, both real and virtual. Information exchanges transplant a portion of the mind to another place, apart from the physical body. This Time is Not the Place investigates this phenomenon and explores the potential limits of sensory experience. By re-creating the presentation space within the VR environment then deconstructing these relationships of space to the physical body, a cognitive dissonance is developed within the participant's sensory apparatus – allowing the technology to formulate a new perspective of reality.
