Brazilian director Ricardo Laganaro has, in recent years, risen to become one of the leading developers of commercial 360-degree video and the emerging medium of virtual reality. His latest project, A linha, sets out to tell a story that could only be done justice in VR. The result is an experience that invites you to participate with your entire body, as playfully as a child. It won Laganaro the prize for Best Immersive VR Experience at last year’s Venice film festival.
A linha depicts, in exacting detail, a virtual scale model of São Paolo in the 1940s. There the two figurines Pedro and Rosa become romantically involved. The two were literally made for one another, but have doubts about giving in to passion. A universal, interactive story about love and fearing change.
Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your screening time to guarantee your seat & technical set-up. Late entry will not be possible.
