The film follows the story of the two friends when they decide to raise their lives to a higher plane. By acquiring new clients, but also by losing their accursed virginity. They meet potential candidates in both fields, but things don’t go entirely as hoped.
Wizard is a hilarious, contemporary and flashy fairy tale, told by three relative outsiders who observe and comment on the world from their veranda. Between the jokes and bizarre events, the filmmaker/stand-up comedian Kagiso Lediga also shows harsh life in the townships.
