This computer-graphic film summons up a post-human consciousness: the awakening of a robot who, in 2065, wants to become the first Sino-futurist artificial artist. As the geopolitical axis tilts further to the East, Lek alights on a long-standing tension between the place of the human and the role of the machine. Commissioned for the Jerwood/FVU Awards 2017.
