Seances

In both iterations the audience has the opportunity to influence the film they are about to see. Through their interaction with a touchscreen, they trigger a unique version of a potential film, a screened version that only exists in that particular instant, offering its specific audience just one chance to see this film before it disappears. No pausing, scrubbing or further sharing possible. The project has been co-created by the National Film Board of Canada as both an installation and a web-based experience.
