Partly dramatised documentary about Rotterdam’s tragic cycling legend Willem Koopman. His promising career nosedived after he was suspended for doping, “Lance Armstrong’s precursor”, as it were. With well-known fellow Rotterdammers Jules Deelder and Wilfried de Jong, archival material and re-enacted key moments from Koopman’s eventful life.
