Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein used music to bolster his regime. In three stylised music videos, Abidin shows how images can be manipulated. The performance of these Iraqi numbers by young, seductive female singers from the West – unaware of the meaning of the texts – provides a confusing contrast.
