It's still tough to be a lone seeker of truth and beauty. Life certainly hasn’t become any more chivalrous, while windmills have definitely multiplied by millions. It's quite possible to see this as a self-portrait of Vlado Kristl, maybe the most nihilistic Surrealist the world has seen (so far).
