Evamaria Schaller is a performance artist whose films develop out of this praxis. The Poacher Woman of the Montafon is rooted in a series of performances that all involve the maltreatment of meat (like bludgeoning a schnitzel to a pulp), resulting in a Surrealist Heimatfilm of an uncommon, feminist kind.
