One museum is the Mishkan LeOmanut in kibbutz Ein Harod, founded in the 1930s and built in 1948 by Samuel Bickels. The other is The Menil Collection in Houston, Texas, built in 1986 by Renzo Piano. What combines these two places is the use of light in their architecture, the latter inspired by the former.
