Desmet’s keen eye, precise editing and framing capture the motion in Bart Lodewijk’s chalk drawings as they trace and re-imagine their way along roofs, gables and masonry, embedding themselves in the fabric of the East Flanders city of Ronse. It’s an inspired partnership and a beautifully descriptive film.
