Girls

Girls is a comedy drama series that provides an occasionally painful, often humorous but always realistic picture of the life of a group of close female friends. Dunham, not only director but also protagonist, bases much of the series on her own experiences. She attracted the attention of the HBO network with her film Tiny Furniture (2010) and was allowed to make a pilot for Girls. Episodes 1 and 2 from the second season screen in this programme.
