Méliès (Single Screen)
Besides being an unsuccesful businessman, the mysterious Gaston Méliès was also a filmmaker with anthropological interests. Méliès (2011) and Grand Paris Texas (2009) are the first two installations in Hubbard/Birchler’s trilogy exploring the social and physical locations of cinema.
