Domashnyee Kino is a home movie which gloriously outdoes ordinary home endeavours with its unexpected colours and textures. Price spent four years filming in and around his house with his big Russian 35mm camera, using a collection of old film stock, 'ripened' in his cellar. He playfully observes his two growing children and his private surroundings, applying the same fascination to the glowing light in the rooms and outside in the park.
