Everywhere I am, I’m left with the feeling of being an outsider. Nationality is an abstraction for me, just as it is for gitans; ‘glue’ as Cioran says. I’ve travelled in Africa, Japan, India and Europe and this film is a cartography of fragments, trying to create a new image of identity.
