Just like gravity, karma works everywhere, even though you don’t see it. You only see the result. All over Asia you see people with impossible loads on their bicycles, scooters or small vehicles. Here a man tries to lift a truly impossible freight in an impossible and hostile environment. The unusual landscape emphasises the metaphorical quality of his toils. Serious as evidence and yet unmistakably funny.
