Cao Fei is obviously an artist of the i-Generation. She spends a lot of time in Second Life, but also turns it into an art project. And a film. She calls her film i-Mirror a documentary, but in Second Life, of course there is nothing to document. Everything is fake and fiction. Cheerful (self-)deceit. The film is a love story, but then without love. Her avatar China Tracey has an encounter with an interesting young man, who finally turns out to be the cover for a middle-aged man.
