Heaven Above Holland describes in 22 scenes, each comprising just one hand-held shot, in reverse chronological order who Mohammed was and what changed him from a social worker into a killer. By choosing an open and un-opinionated approach to the actions of the protagonist, the film tries to give the viewer an opportunity to reflect and judge the choices he made. The camera circles the protagonist, the Moroccan actors perform brilliantly.
