The relationship between picture and sound is also examined in the performance Untitled 2. In a video projection, moving particles swarm across the image with an exactly matching soundtrack. But on further reflection, the opposite seems to be the case: is it the soundtrack that creates the image?
Emma HART works inventively with film and video. In order to publicise her work, she organised in November 2006 the first Emma Hart Biennial in London.
Benedict DREW is a versatile sound and video artist. He has for instance been responsible for the rustling soundtracks for several films by Emily Richardson.
