A light-hearted document about underground life in the New York tube. The film lasts as long as the average tube journey; about 34 minutes. Richard Sandler took his time making it: he collected material every day for 12 years to tell his story about life under the surface. Journey through an unknown universe, with its own rules, customs, rhythms, colours and sounds. Music is the theme through this quest without an end.
