Every year in mid-October the Bolivian community in Buenos Aires celebrates its most important saint’s day: that of Nuestra Señora de Copacabana. Hundreds of music and dance groups from all over the country, some even arriving from Bolivia, get together around Charrua for a big parade, in a celebration that transcends religion. Copacabana takes this celebration as a starting point. The film threads a simultaneously detached and intimate portrait of the Bolivian community in Buenos Aires.
