A ‘structurally’ edited montage of repeating found footage linking political, nuclear and military images from discarded documentaries. This is interspersed with film shots of a bare light bulb before a blank wall. During the presentation an actual light bulb in front of the screen is occasionally lit and flashed counter-pointing the filmed image of the bulb and obscuring the screen image. This device was intended to break the cinematic illusion and draw attention to the real time and space occupied by the audience during the projection.
