Abyss

A video that ‘reads’ the urban environment as a political space as well as a place for the imagination. Knut Åsdam: ‘This is the space where people fall in love, have adventures or dream. This is also however, the space where people experience restriction, suppression or defeat – a political space. In as much as it is a political space it is also the space of fantasy.’ Commissioned by the Middelheim sculpture park.
