In 2002, President George W. Bush visited Berlin, to gather support for the war in Iraq. The film registers this visit, surrounded by much protocol and ritual. The crystal-clear pictures show the complex choreography of such an event, while a whispered/singing narrator’s voice informs us about the invisible details. What does Bush have in his inside pocket?
