In December 1969 the Rolling Stones gave a free concert on the Altamont Racetrack, just outside San Francisco. During the concert, right in front of the stage, Meredith Hunter was murdered by Hell’s Angels. The film is a reflection on Meredith Hunter, whose name became a footnote in history, but who has been forgotten as a person.
