Forst is set in the forest somewhere in central Europe, far away from the inhabited world, where a strange community of outcasts lives. They are stranded and can't go anywhere. A complex system of sanctions and self-regulation guarantees that the existence of the group remains hidden from outsiders, so that the social order is not endangered. In Forst, the outcasts tell their own story. Slowly it becomes clear that they are political refugees who are making plans to escape.
