The main character is a clumsy loser, a sort of a Russian Beavis that either nods frightenedly, or stotters : 'I, um_', a person that is always taken for what he is definitely not. Lesha is passive, Lesha is immature, Lesha is nobody. Everything that happens to him is the 'tragedy of a little person' that nobody needs, that nobody likes and that feels pity and antipathy towards himself.
