A collaboration piece by two maverick filmmakers, Steve Dwoskin and Boris Lehman (represented in the festival with his film Tentatives de se décrire). Boris Lehman has this to say about it: `Two independent filmmakers, who willingly practise self-fiction, are filming each other in order to communicate better. In spite of their differences in language and style, the film is mainly an attempt to imitate, or even to become, the other, which is doomed to failure. But the film is in fact the story of this collision. The film has been shot in two times, with several tangled and mingled cameras (Super 8, 16mm, video). The sketches, filmed without previous scenario, are following each other in a kind of treasure hunt. The film will be shown in a Work in Progress state without dubbing.’
