The young, handsome, rural Benoît is down in the dumps and wants to do something good for humanity. He reports to the organisation 'Pensioners without Christmas'. The director is clear: 'Be friendly, polite, effective, but don't exaggerate.' However, he isn't prepared for the calibre of Béa, the old lady with whom Benoît goes to dinner. A simple interaction turns out to be a psychological swing door, in which the perspective keeps changing. In the end, it isn't so clear who is performing a service for whom.
