Variations du silence

The scores brought together here are the result of ten years of research by train, on foot and by bike through five European countries. Each time, the artist had to rest his ears for five or six days before he could even start to hear the variations in silence. Together they form a prelude for individual pieces in very varied form: three overtures for suites where the acoustic perception surpasses the sight, five oratorios for the oratorios and one sonata for the two halves of the brain. The colours are clues: yellow represents silence, red the body, blue space. The mixtures are easily identifiable.
