Kinder auf der Landstrasse

Inspired by the short story by Franz Kafka, the film maker transformed it into a visual and sensual poem, with beautiful picturesque scenes of nature (shot in the Polish Bieszczady region), shot in sepia, with non actors from the local region playing themselves. The creative soundtrack augments the effect of the images.
