Videographer Jung Nam and schoolteacher Hae Sook are on the verge of breaking up, and an encounter with Hae Sook’s former boyfriend Dong Ryul (he’s also Jung Nam’s friend) seems likely to clinch the split. Korean Academy of Film Arts graduate Park Kyung Mok takes Korean indie film making into the realms of Murakami Haruki and Hong Sang Soo. (Tony Rayns)
