The Rules of Flying is filmed from the perspective of the protagonist: a young girl who is sure she can learn to fly, if only she sticks to the rules she made herself. She throws herself into the dream, to close herself off from her quarrelling parents. After endless gymnastics for brain and body, she decides to put her efforts into practice.
