Pieces of Dead Reality

Surreal and dreamy sequence of visual associations that starts with a car accident in the snow. From the car, the threatening yet also atmospheric snow landscape is filmed. Other snow shots (photographs by Elisabeth Foch, Neiges pour mémoire) portray a dream in the snow. A mood of alienation is augmented by voices in English and Portuguese on the soundtrack, together with music by Wagner and Karaindrou.
