Petite

As applies more often for Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, the combination of architecture and film projection plays a significant role in Petite. Gonzalez-Foerster designed a simple space - a rectangular apartment with two glass walls - in which the (video) image coincides with the architecture. The almost overexposed image of a little girl deep in thought, provides the space an unreal mood. The whole thing acquires an inviolable element, the idea of a memory emerges.
