Park - A Plan for Escape

This installation is based on a work that Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster made last year for the Documenta in Kassel. The work comprised a concrete pavilion in a large park, of which one wall was filled with a continuous projection of film images. Around the pavilion six more or less typical elements were grouped from various countries: a phone box from Brazil, a rose bush from Le Corbusier's rose garden in Chandigarh, a large rock from Mexico, etc. For the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum, Gonzalez-Foerster will transform this installation to a living-room size.
