Since 1984, Frédéric le Junter has built sound machines and instruments with found 'materials' (string, wind, percussion). He has gradually constructed a vocabulary of sounds which led to the creation of acoustic landscapes. Concerts gradually made way for visual art. In the exhibition, he presents mechanical installations in the style of outsider art. His 'Light Machines' are made up of converted overhead projectors that project images of automatic arms writing in the sand on huge piles of polystyrene foam.
