‘Ann Lee in Anzen Zone’ is the third part of a project by the artists Pierre Huyghe and Philippe Pareno, who bought Ann Lee, a Japanese animation character, for 46,000 yen from a Japanese design studio. In the version by Gonzalez-Foerster, Ann Lee addresses the viewers in Japanese.
