A documentary about the artist Michael Snow that is just as informative and enjoyable as it is beautifully constructed and loving. Since the sixties, Snow has been regarded as one of the great innovators and theoreticians of the film medium. In this film, the process of Snow’s cult film Wavelength (1967), comprising one long zoom in, is reversed: the filmmaker zooms out, as a result of which Snow’s work is slowly unlocked.
