Kya Ka Ra Ba A (Air, Wind, Fire, Water, Earth in Sanskrit) can be regarded as a sequel to Embracing. Kawase works with the super8 homemovie format, her camera is subjective. She looks at her work and life so far, poses questions to her grandmother who brought her up and tries to fill the hole left by her absent father. Poetic and moving.
