Nana Tchitchoua: 'Using visually inspired language thatproduces certain notions of gender, I have interpreted an 11th-century manuscript, written by Shotha Rustaveli, a Georgian monk who dedicated his work to the female King Thamara. This is a Persian and Indian tale transformed into the Georgian language which, while magic in and of itself, is also considered as a prophecy for the Georgian people.'
