Point of departure for this short experimental film was the manifesto of the Unabomber from 1995, in which he claimed responsibility for a series of bomb attacks in the USA. In the manifesto, 35,000 words long, its author Theodore Kaczunski explained his motives. Ahwesh took 73 of these words out of their context.
