Summertime

Nadia (13) is staying home in the summer holidays. She is bored stiff, until she notices the attractive young man in the flat opposite hers. She falls madly in love. Summertime has a rare feeling for summer and boredom, love and ernest, with an inventive and almost matter-of-fact mise-en-scène and a beautiful and sensitive soundtrack with a melancholy Summertime. The Swiss-Hungarian Anna Luif (1972) is video- and film-maker, singer and guitarist in the women's band Rosebud.
