Ecstatic Amorica Live, made by Eric Koziol, is a technological love story, based on the script for a science-fiction film. The story is set in the near future, when the boundaries between the digital and the real world have faded. Somewhere on those boundaries, love blossoms between the Professional Voyeur (Shinichi Momo Koga) and the virtual Caterpillar Woman (Cassandra Terman), to the dismay of the heliotropes, the technocratic rulers of this virtual reality. The four actors on the stage are equipped with cameras. Their images can be seen in real-time on the film screens around the stage, on which mixed and pre-edited film is also shown. The live music is by Ben Stokes and Jack Dangers.
