Desi is an ordinary Amsterdam girl who is different in one way: at the end of her schoolday, she has to arrange by mobile phone where she is going to sleep that night. Despite the many tragic circumstances in her life, Desi remains optimistic: ‘I have enough people who love me.’ Desi won the audience award at the International Documentary Filmfestival Amsterdam.
