Politically committed project, initiated and produced by the young 'brakståke' Andersson, together with others including Bo Widerberg, to whom Andersson was assistant director on Adalen 31. The film was made following a match for the Davis Cup ('the white sport' in the title is tennis) in Båstad between Sweden and Zimbabwe. This committed episode film breathing the mood of the late sixties, was made while Andersson was still attending film academy, whose camera he `borrowed' not entirely in compliance with the rules.
