Brasília, ‘the ultimate utopia of the 20th century’ (Umberto Eco), is being conserved as a cultural heritage today. Segments of amateur footage (by Alda Ribeiro) and feature films are inserted in this travelogue. The city is represented as a place abandoned by its inhabitants, a museum kept alive only by its staff.
